GamCrowd.com has confirmed details of its free-to-attend workshop series on day one (Tue, Feb 3) of ICE Totally Gaming 2015.
The theme of the programme is ‘What it takes to start a business in the gambling industry’, with sessions held in the South Gallery (rooms 15 and 16) and on the Pitch ICE stage (N7-460).
A group of experts from the legal, regulatory, finance and crowd sectors will deliver a variety of presentations and workshops on day one of the show (Tue, Feb 3) aimed at entrepreneurs and investors.
They will give crucial advice on how to operate a lean start-up, where to locate, licensing, corporate financing as well as crowdsourcing and funding options.
“Starting up a business is not easy in any industry, let alone one as established and competitive as gambling. I know from personal experience just how many important factors entrepreneurs must consider and some of the crucial decisions they need to make,” said Chris North, GamCrowd CEO.
“This workshop series has been put together with Clarion in order to address some of these issues and help start-ups attending the show to take their businesses a significant step forward.”
